Water-based was the right call, it cleans up with just a warm rinse and doesn't leave that tacky film other lubes do. A little goes a long way, so the 8 oz pump bottle feels like it'll stick around for a while.
The 8 oz bottle has lasted me way longer than I expected since you really only need a couple drops. Washes off with warm water and doesn't leave any sticky residue behind.
